Latest revision as of 23:59, 20 April 2017BMW–Glas 3000 GT. 1967–8 (prod. 389). 2-door coupé. F/R, 2982 cm³ (V8 OHC). Glas-developed model with de Dion rear axle and Frua body, at prototype stage when BMW took over. Essentially a larger-engined version of the Glas 2600 V8. BMW brought it to fruition, but with confused appearance: both BMW and Glas badges appeared. Triple Solex carbs, 17·7 mpg only.
