Jetour (捷途) X70. 2018 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, 1498 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Handsome if derivative-looking first product from Chery’s newly launched SUV marque, Jetour, created to be a more customer-centric brand. X70S (codename CX62FL) a more upscale version of the same car. Rivalled Changan CS75 (2013–) and Haval H6, as well as Chery’s own Tiggo 8. Geared for comfort, as might be expected, though sport mode gave steering greater feel.

Mercury Comet. 1971–7 (prod. 2,586,675 incl. North American Mavericks). 2- and 4-door sedan. F/R, 170, 200, 250 in³ (I6 OHV), 302 in³ (V8 OHV). Plusher version of Ford Maverick (1970–9), taking the nameplate from Mercury’s earlier Ford Falcon twin. Generally dull, reliable compact with higher trim. Sporting model called Comet GT, offered till end of 1975 model year.

Ssangyong Torres/KG Torres (J100/U100). 2022 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, F/A, 1497 cm³ (I4 DOHC), 73·4 kWh electric. More rugged version of the Ssangyong Korando (C300) and positioned above it. EVX electric model, with different front end, shown at Seoul 2023. Spacious and well equipped, but let down by poor ride and vague handling. Donned KG brand from 2023.
