Singer Chamois
From AutocadeSinger Chamois. 1964–70 (prod. 49,798). 2-door saloon, 2-door coupé. R/R, 875 cm³ (I4 OHC). Hillman Imp with a fake grille and walnut veneer inside, along with bigger seats, more instrumentation, and better finishing. Wider rims, aiding handling compared with standard Imp. Mk II from 1965, though barely changed; Sport from 1966, Imp Californian-based coupé from 1967. Facelift at the end of 1968 gave the Chamois quad headlights, but the veneer was gone. Sport and coupé sold poorly, while regular saloon did most of the business.
Marque: Singer
