2013 Infiniti Q50.jpg

Nissan Skyline (V37/HV37/HNV37/YV37/ZV37/RV37). 2013 to date (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/R, F/A, 1991 cm³ petrol, 2143 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC), 2997, 3696 cm³ petrol, 3498 cm³ petrol–electric hybrid (V6 DOHC). Launched in the US in mid-2013 first as Infiniti Q50, Skyline was made available in the home market in November, originally complementing, rather than replacing, V36. Daimler AG 2·1 diesel for European market, as part of its cooperation with Renault, while China had a turbocharged M274 two-litre petrol unit shared with Mercedes-Benz E-Klasse (W212), later launched in Japan. Same wheelbase as before, though two inches wider. Not class-leading ride and handling, but good interior layout and gearbox. Facelift in 2019, seeing the return of the rocketship taillights and a grille inspired by the GT-R; and new tech, including semi-autonomous mode.

Manufacturing location: Tochigi, Japan

Marque: Nissan | Model: Nissan Skyline | Predecessor: Nissan Skyline (V36)
