Nissan Pulsar (N10). 1978–82 (prod. n/a). 3- and 5-door sedan, 3- and 5-door wagon, 3-door coupé. F/F, 988, 1171, 1237, 1397 cm³ (I4 OHV), 988, 1270, 1488 cm³ (I4 OHC). Replacement for Cherry but roughly the same size as rear-wheel-drive Nissan Sunny. Modern range, with hatchbacks in most countries, coupé and wagons in selected markets. Sold as Datsun Cherry in Europe and Datsun 310 in North America; Datsun Pulsar name used in Australasia. Some markets had alphanumeric badging: 100A, 120A, 130A, 140A, 150A, depending on engine. Upmarket Langley model (separate entry) from 1980. Mid-term facelift in 1980, going to a slanted grille. OHC engines from 1981.
