2022 Mazda CX-60.jpg

Mazda CX-60 (KH). 2022 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/R, F/A, 2488 cm³ petrol, 17·8 kWh–2488 cm³ electric–petrol hybrid (I4 DOHC), 3283 cm³ petrol, 3283 cm³ diesel (I6 DOHC). First SUV on Mazda’s new Large Product Group platform, with longitudinal engines and rear- or all-wheel drive, rivalling BMW X3 (G01). Long bonnet suggesting the layout beneath. Double wishbones at front, multi-link at rear. Despite its mid-size positioning (bigger than CX-5, wider and shorter than CX-8), a sizeable vehicle. Smooth gearchanges from eight-speed auto, standard head-up display in some markets. Premium interior. The base petrol unit was underpowered for the car; the hybrid and larger engines were better suited. Agile for its size.

Manufacturing location: Hōfu, Japan

Marque: Mazda
