Sportier looks, with sharp, angular creases, for third-generation i20, with greater width (up 41 mm) and longer wheelbase (up 10 mm, to 2,580 mm) and more interior room and boot space (311 ℓ). Weight down 100 kg. Improved crash protection with K platform. N performance model available for the first time, with 1·6 developing 204 PS; triples lacking in the bottom end, with better mid-range performance. Dull interior, with not the nicest materials; top models with 10¼ in touchscreen in the centre console. Improved handling and steering, and good ride.
