Leaf springs remained at rear. More 12Ms (round headlamps, teardrop tail lamps) than 15Ms (rectangular ones front and rear), with the totals divided at around 385,000 and 285,000. First changes in September 1967, with the abandonment of the Taunus name in favour of 12M and 15M, 12 V electrics and revised interior. Further changes September 1968 with equipment upgrades. A 15M RS was offered from 1968, initially with 1·7 with 70 PS, later upgraded to 75 PS.
