From AutocadeDaihatsu Mira (L70/L70V/L70S). 1985–90 (prod. n/a). 3- and 5-door sedan. F/F, F/A, 547, 796, 847 cm³ (I3 OHC). Boxier, better resolved and better equipped second-generation Mira, continuing to challenge Suzuki. More stylish in an attempt to woo female buyers, including fashion-oriented Mira Parco models (with air conditioning, power steering and power windows), a collaboration with a fashion retailer. Turbocharged models available from the outset. Mid-term revisions 1987, with four-wheel-drive models following later that year. Smaller 0·8 for Swiss market. Sold as Cuore in some export markets. Continued in modified form in Thailand as the Mira P4 and Mira Mint, as well as pick-up versions.
