More sporting bent than other 5s, especially with the top engine a turbo 1·6 with 197 PS, max torque 290 Nm. More premium than regular 5, with the longer body at the same length (4,710 mm) as the GX. Blacked-out detailing to convey sportiness. Considered by the Chinese press to be a true rival to joint-venture C-segment sedans such as the Volkswagen Lavida Plus. Pricing on the high side. Two screens: 10¼ in each, one for instrumentation, the other for controls.
