BMW’s third i car went away from the company’s original i3 and i8; rather than a bespoke model, it was based around the BMW 4er-Reihe Gran Coupé (G26) and its CLAR II platform. Lowest C_d in the range at 0,24. Powerful, with strong acceleration, and excellent ride. Lavish interior and equipment list. But not as engaging behind the wheel as the petrol versions of the 4er.
