ASA 1000 GT. 1963–6 (prod. n/a; poss. 6 Spider). 2-door coupé, 2-door convertible. F/R, 1032 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Extremely powerful (97 bhp) with Ferrari-designed engine, refined, and excellent handling (independent front suspension). Stylish Bertone-designed body. Despite its merits, ASA did poorly in the market-place, the model being pricier than the larger Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint.
