2020 Toyota Yaris Cross.jpg

Toyota Yaris Cross (MXPB10/MXPJ10). 2020 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, F/A, 1490 cm³ petrol, 1490 cm³ petrol–electric hybrid (I3 DOHC). Toyota releases a B-segment crossover based on the Yaris, positioned above the Raize and below the C-HR. Same wheelbase as Yaris hatchback, but longer, wider and taller, aiding interior space. Optional electric tailgate. All-wheel-drive option, not that common in the B-segment in Europe, where the Cross was developed and designed. Meant to be launched at Genève 2020, but the première was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic; instead, it enjoyed an online première. Originally meant for Europe, with plans later changing to see it released in Japan as well. Unrelated to the Yaris Cross made in Thailand.

Manufacturing locations: Kanegasaki, Iwate, Japan; Valenciennes, France

Marque: Toyota | Model: Toyota Yaris
