1966 Simca Regente.jpg

Simca Regente. 1966–7 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/R, 2414 cm³ (V8 OHV). Low-line successor to Chambord series, effectively replacing Profissional. Made for one year only, before Chrysler took over Simca Brasil. Development of Chambord, which could trace its origins back to Ford France, with roof, doors and boot carried over. More powerful engine, now developing 140 hp, but really an effective facelift.

Manufacturing location: São Bernardo do Campo, São Paulo, Brazil

Marque: Simca | Predecessor: Simca Profissional | Successor: Chrysler Regente

q.v. Simca Esplanada
