Samsung QM6 (HC). 2016 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/A, 1598, 1995 cm³ diesel, 1618 cm³ petrol, (I4 DOHC). Announced as the Renault Koleos II, the Samsung QM6 hit Korean streets first in its country of origin, where it had its motor show début in June 2016. Cars appeared in September. Developed in Korea for export, on Renault’s CMF-CD platform, shared with Kadjar, Talisman and Nissan X-trail (T32), among others. Far more premium than the original Koleos, and positioned above the Kadjar, the second generation has the family face from the Mégane IV and Talisman, signalling its more upscale ambitions. Roomier than before, with touchscreen in portrait orientation, like a tablet, a cue from the Mégane. More refined as well, with good performance.
