2009 Renault Mégane Scénic.jpg

Renault Mégane Scénic. 2003–9 (prod. n/a). 5-door MPV, 5-door LWB MPV. F/F, 1390, 1598, 1998 cm³ petrol, 1995 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC), 1461, 1870 cm³ diesel (I4 OHC). Marketed as Scénic, but a small Mégane badge appeared in its rear door pillar, linking it back to its Renault Mégane II roots. Introduction of LWB Grand Scénic this time, to provide Renault a seven-seat entrant in the mini-MPV market. Five-star safety rating, and a respectable handler for the segment. DOHC diesel particularly torquey. Facelift in 2006. Built on predecessor’s strengths of versatility and practicality, but some quality niggles.

Manufacturing location: Douai, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France

Marque: Renault | Model: Renault Mégane | Predecessor: Renault Mégane Scénic I | Successor: Renault Scénic III
