Mégane moves to CMF platform, with more muscular looks. Longer, wider and lower, with longer wheelbase. Five-door hatchback initially, no three-door coupé. Wide range of options, including massaging seats at the top end, while central portrait touch-screen is 8·7-inches, similar to larger Talisman. Colour head-up display and LCD instrumentation offered. Much higher quality promised. Four-wheel steering for RenaultSport GT model. Estate from 2016. Notchback saloon (called Grand Coupé in UK) released July 2016, and made in Turkey.
