Pontiac 2000
From AutocadePontiac 2000 (J-car). 1983–4 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon, 2- and 3-door coupé, 2-door convertible. F/F, 1835 cm³ (I4 OHC). Renamed J2000, but with new OHC engine designed by Opel imported from Brazil. New convertible variant from 1983, dubbed 2000 Sunbird, with all 1984s called 2000 Sunbird as well. Not really performance oriented, despite Pontiac’s image, and largely identical to Chevrolet Cavalier of these years.
