1974 Plymouth Valiant Brougham.jpg

Plymouth Valiant (A-body). 1974–6 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 2-door hardtop sedan. F/R, 198, 225 in³ (I6 OHV), 318, 340, 360 in³ (V8 OHV). Valiant moved to the 111 in wheelbase, so it became a twin of the Dodge Dart (1970–6). Luxury Brougham model introduced in 1974. Still popular among US buyers, despite age, thanks to its good reputation and dynamics. Replaced by underwhelming Volaré.
