Peugeot 3008 (T84). 2008 to date (prod. 867,519 in France). 5-door SUV. F/F, F/A, 1199 cm³ (I3 DOHC), 1560, 1997 cm³ diesel, 1997 cm³ diesel–electric hybrid, 1598 cm³ petrol (I4 DOHC). Not the most attractive crossover on the 308 platform, but economical with a decent interior. Firm ride and good handling, and reasonably comfortable. Hybrid4 model had electric motor driving the rear axle, effectively turning 3008 into a part-time all-wheel-drive vehicle; it also had the distinction of being the first mass-produced diesel–electric hybrid. Mid-term facelift in 2013; further restyling for Chinese model in 2016. Chinese production to 2020.
