Nissan Crew.jpg

Nissan Crew (K30). 1993–2009 (prod. 52,124). 4-door sedan. F/R, 1998 cm³ LPG (I4 OHC), 1998 cm³ petrol, 2826 cm³ diesel (I6 OHC). Remarkably simple four-door sedan targeted at taxi (where the majority of LPG models went) and driving school use, replacing taxi versions of the Nissan Laurel (C32) and Nissan Bluebird (910). Option of a powered automatic passenger-side rear door available. Based around the Nissan Cedric (Y31) platform. Crew Saloon (petrol and diesel) from 1994, aimed at older private buyers wanting value for money and simplicity (few mod cons, and priced cheaply, though strangely the powered rear door remained an option), deleted 2002; police model also offered during this period. Appealed to many because of its manual transmission (automatic optional) and rear-wheel drive. Basis of the Mitsuoka Galue I. Driving school version to 2007, replaced by the Tiida Latio. Taxi version not replaced.

Manufacturing location: Hiratsuka, Kanagawa, Japan

Marque: Nissan | Predecessors: Nissan Laurel (C32), Nissan Bluebird (910) | Successor: Nissan Tiida (C11)
