Morris 1800 (18-22).jpg

Morris 1800/Morris 2200 (ADO71/18-22). 1975 (prod. 7,650). 4-door saloon. F/F, 1798 cm³ (I4 OHV), 2226 cm³ (I6 OHC). Morris version of ADO71 or Project Diablo, replacing “Landcrab” 1800 and 2200 models. Identical to Austin apart from badging, bonnet and grille: Morrises have raised section in bonnet and more pronounced grille. Wedge shape looked very modern at launch, though rumours of quality problems hurt its chances. Short-lived, replaced by marque-less Princess in a few months.

Manufacturing location: Cowley, Oxfordshire, England
