No sixes available, 289 was the starter, rising up to two 427s as options with 410 and 425 hp. New grille and taillights, and bucket seats. GT came with Marauder four-barrel 390 V8 as standard, dual exhausts, front disc brakes, 3·25:1 axle ratio, stiffer front and rear springs, heavy-duty front and rear shocks, and larger-diameter stabilizer bar.
