From AutocadeMG 1100 Mk II/MG 1300/MG 1300 Mk II/MG S (ADO16). 1967–73 (prod. 116,827 1100 incl. Mk II, 26,240 1300 incl. Mk II). 2- and 4-door saloon. F/F, 1098, 1275 cm³ (I4 OHV). Facelifted ADO16 from 1967, with new rear lights, ventilated pressed steel wheels, and revised seats. MG 1100 Mk II, but technically the MG 1300 Mk I in the UK, until a twin-carb 65 bhp model arrived in October 1968 as the Mk II. Two-door only for 1300 Mk II in UK, but four-door assembled in Spain by Authi. Replaced in the UK in 1971 by the GT version of the Austin–Morris models, and by the Victoria in Spain in 1972. Well equipped S denoted sport–luxury Spanish version, also with 65 bhp and two SU carburettors.
