Lancia Y (Tipo 840). 1995–2003 (prod. unknown). 3-door saloon. F/F, 1108, 1242, 1370 cm³ (4 cyl. OHC), 1242 cm³ (4 cyl. DOHC). Replacement for Autobianchi Y10, and officially dubbed Y, rather than Ypsilon, at this point. Wearing Lancia badges, as Autobianchi laid to rest. Very stylish—Centro Stile was on a high in the mid-1990s—and overseen by Enrico Fumia, with intersecting curves and lines. On Fiat Punto (176) platform. Mid-term facelift 2000. Economical, with proven engines, and decent level of standard equipment, but mediocre dynamics.

Manufacturing location: Italy

Marque: Lancia | Predecessor: Autobianchi Y10 | Successor: Lancia Ypsilon (843)
