F/F, 1098, 1199, 1216, 1231, 1298, 1584 cm³ (V4 DOHC). To many, the quintessential Lancia, and the last of the pre-Fiat ones. Replaced Appia, and shifted to front-wheel drive. V4s at 13 degrees, all-disc brakes. Transverse-leaf wishbone independent front suspension, and beam axle with a Panhard rod and leaf springs at rear. Saloons revised to Series II in August 1969 with 20 mm longer wheelbase, updated body and new interior. Three-box coupé with 150 mm shorter wheelbase from 1965. Ercole Spada-styled Sport by Zagato with more aerodynamic body, from 1965 to 1972, initially with all-aluminium body before changing to steel in 1966 (though retaining aluminium bonnet, doors, and spare wheel hatch). Series II coupés and Sport from 1970 with facelift, gaining five-speed gearbox and facelift. Further facelift for 1973 to Fulvia 3 for coupés. Successful competition history.
