Kia Niro (DE). 2016 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, 1580 cm³ petrol–electric hybrid (I4 DOHC). Kia entry into the hybrid market to complement the Hyundai Ioniq (AE), with lightweight construction using steel and aluminium. Dual-clutch automatic transmission with electric motor. Batteries located under the seats. Safe, with attention to detail in the interior. Roomy with reasonable handling, but very much a city car despite the SUV profile.
