1971 Honda Life.jpg

Honda Life (SA/VA/WA). 1971–4 (prod. n/a). 2- and 4-door sedan, 3-door wagon. F/F, 356 cm³ (I2 OHC). Kei car successor to popular N360, with engineering improvements and longer wheelbase. Sedans first in June 1971, with wagon—or perhaps more accurately hatchback, by today’s standards—added later that year. Production ceased as Honda needed capacity for its successful Civic, though not before Life also spawned a step-up van and pick-up commercial range.
