First CR-V not to be sold in Japan, productionized originally in Canada. Well built, with secure, competent handling. Roomier, with 69 mm more in length aiding boot space, and a 40 mm stretch in wheelbase. Good hybrid systems, economical for urban driving. More road noise, with limited rear headroom. Fairly pricey in some markets. Twinned with Honda Breeze (2022–) in China.
