1985 Honda Accord Aerodeck.jpg

Honda Accord. 1985–9 (prod. unknown). 3- and 4-door sedan, 3-door wagon. F/F, 1596, 1829, 1955 cm³ (4 cyl. OHC), 1829, 1955 cm³ (4 cyl. DOHC). Sporty generation for Accord with pop-up headlights and all-round double-wishbone suspension. Handled far better than most cars, so it lived its sporting promise. Dull interior, however. Three-door hatch and four-door sedan in most countries, styling a greater departure from original. Unusual bluff-end three-door called Aerodeck available in some markets. European models had conventional nose without pop-up headlights, with exception of Aerodeck.

Manufacturing locations: Sayama, Japan; Marysville, Ohio, United States

Marque: Honda | Model: Honda Accord | Predecessor: Honda Accord (1981–5) | Successor: Honda Accord (1989–93)

q.v. Honda Vigor (CA)
