Haval Chitu (哈弗赤兔). 2021 to date (prod. 31,200 sold in China in 2021). 5-door SUV. F/F, 1497, 1499 cm³ petrol, 1497 cm³–1·69 kWh petrol–electric hybrid (I4 DOHC). Well equipped compact crossover on the Lemon platform, and best thought of as the sporting counterpart to the Jolion. SUV initially launched with 184 PS turbocharged four, before less powerful models (150 PS) joined at the end of 2021 along with a hybrid. Wheelbase at 2,710 mm. Interior featured 12·3 in central screen and 7 in instrumentation, with navigation and facial recognition, like a mobile phone. Responsive gearchange, more so from dual-clutch models, and reasonably economical. Exported as part of the Jolion range to some markets.
