Ford Country Sedan. 1965–8 (prod. n/a). 5-door wagon. F/R, 240 in³ (I6 OHV), 289, 302, 352, 390, 427, 428 in³ (V8 OHV). Essentially the basic Galaxie or Galaxie 500 wagon, with the same improvements and options as the sedan. From 1966, the Country Sedan gained the Magic Doorgate, which allowed the rear to be opened either as a door or as a fold-down tailgate. Slotted above the Ranch Wagon, and later, the Custom 500 Ranch Wagon, but a step down from the Country Squire. Final year for the Country Sedan as a separate line in 1968.
