Fiat 126/Polski Fiat 126p/FSM Maluch. 1972–2000 (prod. 1,350,000 in Italy, 3,320,000 in Poland approx.). 2-door saloon. R/R, 594, 652, 704 cm³ (I2 OHV). Fiat nuova 500 successor on same platform and initially with same engine, squared off for the 1970s. Nicknamed Maluch (little car) in Poland and name officially adopted by 1997; exported as FSM Niki 650 to Australasia in 1980s. Enlarged 652 cm³ engine from 1977, new dashboard and facelift 1984, 704 cm³ from 1987 (Fiat 126 bis), some Fiat Cinquecento parts from 1994. Final models in yellow.
