Cadillac Eldorado. 1979–85 (prod. n/a). 2-door coupé, 2-door convertible. F/F, 4128 cm³ (V6 OHV), 4087, 5733, 6095 cm³ petrol, 5736 cm³ diesel (V8 OHV). More sensibly sized Eldorado, with legroom, headroom and usable trunk space actually increasing. Soft, cosseting ride as expected, but handling and roadholding not bad for the class. Unreliable diesel, and issues with electronic fuel injection and V8-6-4 variable displacement engine. Touring Coupé from 1982 through 1985, with heavier-duty suspension and other changes. Convertible (converted by American Sunroof Corp.) officially offered 1984–5.
