Cadillac ELR. 2014–16 (prod. 2,958). 2-door coupé. F/F, 16·5 kWh–1398 cm³ electric–petrol hybrid (I4 DOHC). Cadillac version of the Chevrolet Volt (2011–15), built on the same lines and platform, but with a very attractive, angular coupé body and plenty more luxuries. Excellent fuel economy, being a plug-in hybrid; but 1·4 noisy for a luxury car, small back seat and small trunk. Big price difference between Volt and ELR: customers paid for the style. No 2015s made.
