Audi 60 L.jpg

Audi/Audi 60/Audi 72/Audi 75/Audi 80/Audi Super 90 (F103). 1965–72 (prod. 416,853). 2- and 4-door saloon, 3-door estate. F/F, 1496, 1695, 1761 cm³ (I4 OHV). First model in revived Audi line-up, originally without a model designation. Brought back a marque that had not been seen since before World War II. Body-wise, based on the DKW F102, but now with four-stroke engines, necessitating a stretch of the front end to accommodate them. Original model renamed Audi 72 when other variants were added, with the PS rating becoming the model designation (the Audi 60 was rounded up from 55 PS). Engine development began when Auto Union was under Daimler-Benz AG ownership. Refresh in 1970.

Manufacturing location: Ingolstadt, Germany

Marque: Audi | Predecessor: DKW F102 | Successor: Audi 80 (B1)
