2022 Mitsubishi Airtrek.jpg

Mitsubishi Airtrek. 2022 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, 69·9, 71·8 kWh electric. Mitsubishi’s second EV made in China, based on the GAC Aion V, reviving Airtrek name. Long wheelbase, at 2,830 mm, and 1,920 mm wide, though only 4,630 mm long, giving it a distinctive stance. Nineteen-inch wheels. Not the most refined interior with plastic steering wheel on launch models; though plenty of digital goodies, with 12·3 in LCD instrumentation and another 12·3 in for the centre screen. Over-the-air upgrades, though no panoramic imaging, lane merge assist, lane departure warning, or active braking. Comfortable space for five inside but small boot. Lithium–iron phosphate battery with a claimed 500 km range (520 km for the more upmarket model).

Manufacturing location: Guangzhou, China

Marque: Mitsubishi | Model: Mitsubishi Airtrek | Predecessor: GAC Trumpchi GE3
