Tayron becomes a global model, replacing three-row Tiguan Allspace in most markets. Badged Tiguan in the US and Canada, with only two rows of seats. Launched in México first; production also in Germany and China (where it became the Tayron L to distinguish it from the first-generation model). On MQB Evo platform shared with the Škoda Kodiaq II, positioned between Tiguan and Touareg in Europe. Quiet and roomy, and pricey compared with Kodiaq.
