Evolved T-Roc, with Volkswagen taking the safe if backward route, not offering plug-in hybrids or EVs (mild hybrids only). Drag coefficient at a high-for-2025 0·29. Supposedly developed from scratch, though on a Golf VIII platform. Interior with 33 cm infotainment screen, plus background lighting, more room, new tech, soft surfaces and premium materials. Optional head-up display. Overall length is up 12 cm, aiding interior space, and boot volume is up 30 ℓ to 475 ℓ. New tech included Travel Assist, supporting automatic lane changes and reacts to speed limits, and Park Assist Pro, which can do automatic parking over 50 m, with smartphone control to take the car in and out of parking spaces.
