Volkswagen Passat Pro (B9). 2025 to date (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 1498, 1984 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Saloon version of B9 Passat for Chinese market. Same wheelbase as 2018 model, but longer, wider and taller, and more stylish. Running alongside the previous generation initially, hence the Pro tag to distinguish it. Large 12·9 in central screen; higher-end models have 15 in plus an 11·6 in “co-pilot” entertainment screen, though the underlying tech tended not to be as advanced as Chinese brands’. Roomy, with decent rear accommodation continuing. Predictable and comfortable to drive. Cabin not as quiet as some rivals, with only single-layer glass, as with 2018 model.
