Toyota Yaris/Toyota Vios (NSP151R/NSP152L). 2017 to date (prod. n/a). 4- and 5-door sedan. F/F, 1197, 1297, 1496 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Facelift for Vios-based Yaris saw some minor sheetmetal changes, including more pronounced creases in the doors. Four-door called Yaris Ativ in some markets. In Thailand, slotted below Vios, with Yaris positioned as a more economical model with the 1·2, complying with the country’s Eco Car rules. Yaris Cross, no relation to the model made in Japan, offered as a raised-height version of the hatchback, with handling compromised from the higher centre of gravity. Other models much the same as before dynamically. Bodywork later shared with Vios in some markets, with the notable exception of China. Further facelift in 2020.
