Toyota Sprinter (E90)
From AutocadeToyota Sprinter (E90). 1987–91 (prod. n/a). 4- and 5-door sedan, 5-door wagon. F/F, F/A, 1295, 1839, 1974 cm³ (I4 OHC), 1498, 1587, 1839 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Follow-up to successful E80, with distinctive bodywork for the hatchback. Utilitarian van featured Corolla Wagon body. Fuel injection across range in Japan. Hatchback became part of Corolla range on export. Changes tended to parallel Corolla ones. Replaced in Japan in 1991, but built in the US as the Geo Prizm (1990–2). Sprinter Carib off-road wagon had a different body to the regular van, and continued to 1995 (q.v.).
