From AutocadeToyopet Corona Mark II (T60/T70/RT62/RT63/RT72/RT73/RT76/RT78/RT79). 1968–73 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon, 2-door coupé. F/R, 1591, 1707 cm³ (I4 OHV), 1858, 1968 cm³ (I4 OHC), 1858 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Originally conceived as a Corona successor, accounting for the use of the T code names and the jump in numbers in that line, Toyota decided to pitch the Mark II more upmarket, countering the Nissan Laurel (C30). T60 denoted sedan, T70 the coupé. Longer and wider than T40, but with similar stylistic themes. GSS hardtop from 1969 with DOHC, which could do the ton; mid-term facelift in 1970 with 1·7 added, and minor changes, with ‘eagle nose’ in 1971.
