From AutocadeSubaru FF-1 (A14/A15/A43/A44). 1969–72 (prod. 83,696). 2- and 4-door sedan, 3- and 5-door wagon. F/F, F/A, 1088, 1268 cm³ (F4 OHV). Development of 1000, in response to the market’s demand for more luxury and power. First Subaru to be exported to the US. Different grille, and better equipped interior. Larger 1·3 released July 1970. Minor changes at the start of 1971, but models began being deleted as the Leone took over: the sport sedan from October with the Leone coupé’s release, and the four-door sedan and Super Touring models vanished in April 1972 as the Leone sedan appeared. Two-door sedans and vans remained, eventually deleted as Leone equivalents appeared. Eight 1300G wagons with AWD were made and sold directly to customers.
