Roewe iMax8. 2020 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door MPV. F/F, 24·7 kWh–1496 cm³ electric–petrol hybrid, 1986 cm³ petrol (I4 DOHC), 90 kWh electric. Roewe gets into the luxury MPV market. Excellent seat configurations with small rear table available, and comfortable for the second row. Plug-in hybrid very miserly on fuel; regular petrol model about average. Hampered by a shorter wheelbase and overall length compared with newer rivals, though still very spacious (wheelbase 3 m, length 5,016 mm). Well priced, though not well known, and outsold by the GAC Trumpchi M8 (2022–). EV from 2022, hybrid from 2025.
