Executive car from Renault, styled by Gaston Juchet and Robert Opron. Interior designed by Marcello Gandini. During an era when drag coefficients were newsworthy, 25 broke the Cd 0,30 barrier with TS model at Cd 0,28. Voice alerts and steering-mounted stereo controls considered revolutionary at the time. First production models from December 1983 as 1984 models. Turbo 2·5 (after 1985) with engine shared with Alpine A610 coupé. Initial quality glitches early in the run. Formed basis of Renault Premier.
