Renault 10
From AutocadeRenault 10. 1965–71 (prod. 699,490). 4-door saloon. R/R, 1108, 1289 cm³ (I4 OHV). Long-nose, wider version of the Renault 8, replacing the 8 Major. Facelift in 1967, to square headlamps, differentiating it from the 8, which continued alongside. Five-bearing 1·3 from Renault 12 fitted in 1970 but with less power (due to lower compression). Better handling than on 8s, but lifeless steering, and not as popular as Peugeot 204 or Renault’s own 12.
Marque: Renault | Predecessor: Renault 8 | Successor: Renault 12
