Opel Grandland X/Opel Grandland. 2017–24 (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, F/A, 1199 cm³ (I3 DOHC), 1499, 1560, 1997 cm³ diesel, 1598 cm³ petrol, 11·5 kWh–1598 cm³ electric–petrol hybrid (I4 DOHC). Peugeot 3008 (P84)-based crossover, developed before PSA bought Opel, and replacing the Korean-made Antara. Peugeot engines, and made in France. More Germanic in appearance, and interior closer to Astra’s, complete with Onstar service. Competent and well made, but dull to drive. X dropped from name in 2021, the same year as its facelift to the simple Opel Vizor grille.
