From AutocadeNissan Note (E12). 2012–21 (prod. n/a). 5-door sedan. F/F, F/A, 1198 cm³ petrol, 1·5 kWh–1198 cm³ electric–petrol hybrid (I3 DOHC), 1598 cm³ (I4 DOHC), 1461 cm³ diesel (I4 OHC). Second-generation Note, with downsized engines, including supercharged 1·2 on Miller cycle for greater efficiency. Roomy, but dull interior. Active safety, including blind-spot and lane-departure warnings. Stop–start across range in some countries. Lifeless steering but fairly composed handling, with little roll, and compliant ride. Facelift at the end of 2016, with the addition of an E-Power hybrid model, where electric power drove the car, and the petrol engine drove a generator for the electric motor. UK production ceased 2017, replaced by Micra for European market; México the following year. Mexican-made Notes exported to US as Nissan Versa Note.
