Nissan Cedric/YLN 806/YLN 807 (430). 1979–83 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 4-door hardtop sedan, 5-door wagon. F/R, 1952 cm³ LPG (I4 OHC), 1991, 2164 cm³ diesel (I4 OHV), 1998, 2753 cm³ petrol, 2792 cm³ diesel (I6 OHC). Nissan turned again to Pininfarina for 430 series. Twin to the Nissan Gloria (430), with front double wishbones and rear semi-elliptical leaf springs, with a different grille. Top 2·8 models exported as Datsun 280C initially, later Nissan 280C as the company implemented its brand change. Turbo model from 1979. Mid-term changes 1981, with power and torque increases for 2·8 petrol engine.
